Hi guys! We are back after some months of silence. We are sorry about that, but believe us, we haven’t been twiddling our thumbs all this time. Soon there will be some juicy updates! But today we are very happy to add this new post. A post about a choice. Life is made of choices. Some are bad, some are good… we are not sure about this one, but one thing is for sure. That this is a choice made with the heart, rather than with the head.
Our friends Damiano and Jessica are italian petrol heads and japanese cars enthusiasts, just like us…. But much more skilled in mechanics and car repairing. More than a year ago, they left Italy to gain experience in a country where cars, and particularly japanese cars are almost a religion. The Australia.
There, Damiano aquired some great experience working for a Nissan specialized workshop in Melbourne. And, in Australia, Nissan means Fairladys, GTRs, Silvias, Hakosukas, and every other great piece of funny engineering made by the japanese brand. This lasted for six months, than Damiano moved to another workshop… this one specialized in Mazda, and in particular in Rotary engines… You know, this is a lot of experience.
And in Italy we really are in need for some reliability and first hand, self acquired know how. Ok, this is for Damiano. And Jessica? Simple, she is the great woman that is behind every great man! Now, this is Zippo Garage, their new workshop, located in Feletto Canavese, just a handful of kilometres north to the sabaudian capitol city, and Italian cars capitol city, Torino.
But opening a new business in Italy is somehow foolish, rather than difficult. Burocracy here is simply crazy, and it is incredibly expensive. Everybody else in their shoes, would have remained in Australia. But they decided to give a chance to their native country, and bring here all their experience for the Italian cars enthusiasts. This is a workshop for that kind of pepole who looks for a mechanic that repairs cars for passion, and with passion. Not just for money.
And here is another great news for us, italian petrol heads. Soon, at Zippo Garage will be available for sale some rare import cars from Japan, or from every other part of the world, to satisfy our insatiable appetite for fast cars.
